Welcome to IPATH

Welcome!  This website was the culmination of collaboration of several agencies and nearly 5 years of activity.  The group was gathered by Pepnet 2 for the purpose of building capacity of transition services provided to deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind students as they leave school and enter the workforce.  Agencies represented include special education cooperatives, state agencies, community rehabilitation programs, high schools, and of course families of students.

We are aware that some areas of the state have resources available and other areas are limited.  It is the hope that with information in a common location with easy access that the outcomes for our students/young adults will improve.

This site will be updated and revised as resources become known.  If you have any resources that you would like to see added to the site, please email us at ipathfordhh@gmail.com.

A great place to learn about Pepnet 2 is their website - http://www.pepnet.org/  Their resources are developed for deaf and hard of hearing students and accessible in a variety of formats.

As of January 1, 2017, the University of Texas at Austin has received grant funding to operate the National Deaf Center on Post-Secondary Outcomes.  You can learn more information on their website - http://www.nationaldeafcenter.org/
