This section includes information that will be interesting for multiple professional groups who will be working with young people as they assist and guide the young adults to research their options for employment.

Some students will need additional training and some will opt for jobs right out of high school.  Training can include on-the-job, vocational/skill, and academic.  Articles in this section will hopefully provide meaningful information for those professionals whether they are teachers, vocational rehabilitation counselors, community college staff, job training program staff, or job development and placement counselors.  We hope to make this section for professionals as inclusive as possible.

It is important that we realize that each professional group has their own philosophy, methodology and approach when working with young adults with hearing loss.  We need to be aware and recognize the differences and similarities so that all professionals work in coordination and provide meaningful and positive support to students.
