Positive Behavior Support Plans

Overview: Multi-tiered approaches to behavior supports from the Universal through Intensive Levels are summarized. Much discussion around the research and implications of the 4:1 positive to negative ratio as it pertains to classroom attitude, perception, and behavior are shared. Several contrasts are made between behavior management versus behavior intervention, punishments and consequences, as well as the role your own assumptions play when analyzing student behavior.
